Nothing gives hope and love to a mother who is going through difficult times like her children who came by her side , wipe her tears away as she sobs and give her hugs  as they tell her to stop crying for it shall be well in due time.

Well my dear brothers and sisters, that is the same feeling I got the first time I listened to an album by Chantelle Mogare. The songs done by the eleven year old little girl touched my heart and made me see the daily things I go through in life in a more positive way.

This beautiful little girl truely has the voice of an angel that impacts  knowledge, faith and hope when it comes to believing in Our father in heaven in the most melodious way. Yes,  she is just eleven years old. She is the first born in a family of three girls. Chantelle and her family all worship at Kisumu Central Seventh Day Adventist Church located in the beautiful city , Kisumu in Kenya. Singing is her hobby which she became intrested in and loved as early as when she was 1 year and half old.

The one song that touches my heart deeply  is  Tujifunze kwa bibilia. Track number 2,  talks of living through the teachings and ways of the holy book, the Bible. Its talks of how problems have become part of our daily lives and so we should learn to turn to the Bible as our daily guide in our journey to heaven.

Proverbs 3:5

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding

That is the verse that comes to mind when I listen to this particular track. If we turn to the word of God everyday then we are assured of seeing wonderful things without measure and find fulfilment in our journey to heaven as Chantelle says in her song.

For sure she is right because the Bible itself is a weapon when it comes to the daily battles we encounter. It assures us of safety, hope, deliverance, victory , success and many good things the Lord desires us to have and feel here on earth. For example ,

  1. Psalms 118:6 The Lord is on my side, I will not fear: what can man do to me….  This verse already drives away fear and assures us of security
  2. Luke 12:12 for the holy ghost shall teach you in the same hour what you out to do… This verse teaches us not have doubts in what we do for we have the holy ghost as our guide
  3. Matthew 21:21  Jesus answered and said unto  them , if you have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain , Be though removed, be though cast into the sea: it shall be done..

Am looking forward to more songs from this little girl with a voice that spreads the word of God in a melodious way. She already has one album out that contains 10 tracks in it. The album titled THE SUNNY SIDE OF LIFE is already out.

  1. The sunny side of life
  2. Tujifunze kwa bibilia
  3. It all belongs to my father
  4. Brighten the corner
  5. I am going higher someday
  6. Carry your candle
  7. Amazing grace
  8. Side by side
  9. Further along
  10. Never give up

You can like her page on facebook , Chantalle Mogare , to get more knowledge of her music, album and new releases. Contacts are also available on facebook for those who are intrested in the album.

I pray that this album gives you hope and makes you feel blessed just like I was.

Lil Wayne “I’m Not Connected To Black Lives Matter”

Shankaroun Abrahams

Lil’ Wayne, a self-described gangster says he’s often misunderstood. Needless to say, Lil’ Wayne and controversy go hand in hand. An ABC reporter interviewed him where she brought up the issue of Black Lives Matter. When asked about it, Wayne’s response was,”What is it? What do you mean?” Now most people would say he was high from whatever he’d smoked (I thought so too) but I beg to differ. The BLM movement is a good cause to help curb the senseless killings of black people in America but I have realized that some Americans believe that any other opinion or  way of looking at the world is unacceptable. So if you have you own opinion, you’re mean or you’re stupid and if you have your own view, you’re attacked for raising your own opinion. Lil’ Wayne said he doesn’t feel connected to what doesn’t have anything to do with him. We as humans are diverse because we each have our own different opinions and just because we don’t agree on them, doesn’t mean we can’t mature up and agree to disagree. I don’t necessarily agree with everything Wayne said but it’s his opinion and everyone’s entitled to theirs.
